Spiraeacicles
The Spiraea bush is full of icicles from above. The freezing water is starting to weigh down the bush.
Brushy Water
This vernal pool has become very brushy. Just outside the edge of the forest is pasture, where it is easier to walk.
Opportunity Knocks

Pond Island Reappears

Sometimes an Island, Sometimes Not
There is enough water in this pond currently so that the island is completely surrounded by water. Though with little watershed, the water disappears eventually. I may remove the island in the future and dig this pond deeper.
Bigfoot Willow Party
The soda and willow cuttings are keeping cool in April.
Wood Pile
The hard rains have cleared the streams of debris from the forest.
Full Vernal Ponds
A lot of rains this year have filled up my vernal pools of water.
