I have a few young Japanese Zelkovas growing. The Zelkovas tend to have better fall color than their relatives, the Elms.

Japanese Zelkova
Some of my young Japanese Zelkova seedlings are coloring up nicely. These trees are related to Elms and have leaves that look similar.
Variegated Chinese Elm
Variegated Chinese Elm(Ulmus parviflora ‘Variegata’) that I have, was via seed propagation rather than cuttings. There is a percentage of seedlings that will also be variegated.
Young Princeton Elm Tree
This is what my Princeton Elm tree looks like right now: This tree is an American Elm(Ulmus americana) and said to be resistant to diseases that plague our native elms.
Accolade Elm
I’ve had the Accolade Elm for a few years. It is a fast growing hybrid tree that is resistant to Dutch Elm Disease and Elm Yellows. The young stems are very corky and different than the native elms on our place.
