The Common Reed is starting to head out. The color is reddish in the early stages, but will later change in color.

Spruce Grove
Today I planted a lot of Norway Spruce and Colorado Blue Spruce. In the future there should be a nice grove of evergreens for the wildlife.

2009 Fall Colors
Norway Spruce, Ponderosa Pine, and White Oak are lined up. Red Oaks are easily spotted in the naked forest.
Forsythia Spruce
The Forsythia bushes are blooming heavily. A Colorado Blue Spruce is in the background that is not so blue.
