The Chinese Necklace Poplar has the biggest leaves of the Populus genus. Though when grown next to a Paulownia tree, the leaves look small.

The Paulownia tree, also known as the Royal Empress tree, has very large leaves when young. The fastest growing shoots have the biggest leaves.
