A little guest has enjoyed the flowers on the Crimson King Maple. Which is kind of odd to have king in the name for a tree that produces flowers and seed.

I like having different colored trees. This is a purple-leafed tree called Crimson King Maple, which is a cultivar of the Norway Maple(Acer platanoides).
