Moosewood

Moosewood is a species in the Acer genus.

These small trees have attractive leaves, but the bark is the most important ornamental aspect.

There is a Cottonwood tree that has been slowly dying over the years.

It has interesting features to briefly check out. I don’t stand under this tree long, as occasionally large limbs fall from high above.

Amur River North Privet is easy to propagate from cuttings.

This Privet also flowers while quite small, too.

Some trees like the Purple Robe Locust grow fast and have a great flower show every year.

But this hybrid tree has a poor form and has the top break out often in storms.

I could hear a loud noise come closer and closer, sounding like a lawn mower in the air.

It was a Powered Parachute and flew slow and low.

A Weeping Willow and rainbow join forces in the landscape.

A dead branch has been hanging in the Weeping Willow tree for weeks.

The pendulous branches are intertwined with the dead wood.

New red leaves and old purple leaves combine on this little Beech tree.

The Columnar Purple Beech is a cultivar of the European Beech(Fagus sylvatica).

Snow comes in the summer on this conifer.

Snow Flurries is a rare cultivar of the Dawn Redwood.
