Giant Corn

Some tall Corn I have been growing:

Giant Common Reed(Phragmites australis ‘Pseudodonax’) is a tall grass that is said to get over 20 feet tall.

Mine has stayed relatively short compared to that stated height.

A nice clump of Garlic Chives will attract a lot of pollinators, like bees.

Hydrangea is a good late summer producer of flowers.

Two cucumbers become a pair.

Sunflowers have been growing on the side of the dam.

These annual wild plants provide good cover.

I found a caterpillar on my Curly Poplar.

The caterpillar wanted to blend in, but this tree is not as green as others.

Variegated Cornelian Cherry is a very ornamental plant.

Flowers, fruit, and variegated leaves encompass this tree.

The aerial roots of the Mexican Corn are high up on the stalk.

Coppertina Ninebark has leaves with a copper-purple color.
