Tulip Poplars have had problems getting started on this farm.
Cold and droughts have damaged and killed them, though the one above is my biggest tree so far.
Tower Poplar Trunk
The Tower Poplar’s trunk is lighter colored than the native Poplars in the area.
These fast growing Hybrid Poplars are good for windbreaks, but are not as easy to propagate from stem cuttings as other Poplars.
Tamarix ramosissima ‘Pink Cascade’
This is the first year that Pink Cascade Salt Cedar has flowered.
The insects liked the flowers of this Tamarix.
Start of Fall Harvest
Fall harvest started in August this year.
Potatoes and Onions were dug up so that they would not rot from all the rains.

Rose of Sharon flowers early in life.
Tale of Two Rhus
Suckers of Rhus chinensis and Rhus glabra are growing close to each other.

Pole Beans
The Pole Beans have filled up the cattle panels I used for them to climb up.
The rain has helped the vines to keep pumping out beans to eat.
