I frequently see fog settling down in the valleys from my viewpoint.

Most of my young Korean Mountain Ashes look normal.

Except this seedling has suffered with yellow leaves.

I found a colorful leafhopper on the Curly Poplar tree.

Some pests are more beautiful than others.

Prospector Elm is a vigorous Hybrid Elm of Asian DNA.

The young growth will have you seeing red.

It is easy to spot Purple Ninebark among the greens in the landscape.

This year is shaping up to be the wettest year on record.

Even the hay bales have grass seed sprouting in them.

I did get to taste a Firecracker Apple.

The taste wasn’t great, but the red flesh was awesome to see.

A couple Turkey Vultures are always hanging around the forest.

The gray heads are indicative of their youth.
