Paulownia Regrowth

All of the Paulownia species I have tried to grow have died back to the ground in bad winters.

But they can bounce back from the ground with amazing growth and gigantic leaves.

Fall Harvest

With the above normal rainfall, Pumpkins and Squash vines produced a lot.

The Yellow Delicious tree is loaded with as many apples as it can handle.

Crimson Beauty Knotweed, Maybe?

My Crimson Beauty Knotweed flowers later than my other knotweed, but also has white flowers.

This cultivar suppose to have crimson flowers.  Anyways, these plants attract a lot of pollinating insects with all of its late season nectar.

Miscanthus Cultivars

Various Miscanthus Grass cultivars are planted among the Persimmons and Pecans.

A lot of the Miscanthus is flowering now.  This grass is one of the most ornamental, with the large white plumes, it is sometimes called Pampas grass.

Canna Seedling

A few Cannas started growing from seed in the garden.

The seed had to be 20 years or more old.  The consistent rains have helped these Cannas go from seed to flowering.
