Weigela Flowering

The two Weigela bushes are flowering.

Both of the Weigelas have pink flowers, one is lighter than the other.

I found a young Opossum in one of the sheds.

The mother must be around somewhere close, too.

The Pink Dawn Chitalpa has flowered fast for me.

It is very attractive but may not be hardy enough for my location.

Prairie Dandelion(Nothocalais cuspidata) is a common wild plant around here.

I like it the most when it has gone to seed and fluffy like a common dandelion, but bigger.

I am growing the Variegated Yellow Loosestrife(Lysimachia punctata ‘Alexander’).

It has flowered, but is a small plant right now.

The Golden Ninebark(Physocarpus) is flowering now.

This is a small bush and I have had to cut branches off of the surrounding bushes that are smothering it.

Goatsbeard is a perennial that flowers heavily and attracts a lot of insect pollinators to it.

This plant prefers more shady areas and not full sun.

Daisies(Bellis) are easy plants to get flowers from.

I am a matchmaker for these two cute flowers.

The Paulownia tree, also known as the Royal Empress tree, has very large leaves when young.

The fastest growing shoots have the biggest leaves.

Water was everywhere late this month.

The water quickly moved and escaped.
