The Sun creates a fantasy world up in the sky.

This has to be one of my favorite flowers.

I can’t grow bananas, but can grow a different fruit that is similar.

The fruit looks tropical, but these trees have survived subzero weather fine.

The Illinois Everbearing Mulberry has grown fast this year, with long whips of vigorous growth.

The leaves were large, too.

I like the pattern on Chestnuts.

American Persimmon(Diospyros virginiana) has attractive orange fruits in the tree at this time of the year.

Wildlife love the fruit and the goats would eat it, too if given a chance.

Shagbark Hickory(Carya ovata) nuts are small.

But the nuts can be in plentiful supply in the fall and taste great.

Like a Christmas Tree, the Red Delicious Apple tree stands out in the landscape.

The heavy production of apples are hanging in the tree like ornaments.

The Arundo Donax has gone skyward this year with its fast growth.

Giant Reed has been my tallest grass ever, at 18 feet tall.
