Ailanthus Webworm Moth is a beautiful small moth.

The larva stage feeds on Tree of Heaven trees in Iowa.

Evans Cherry and Balaton Cherry fruit are different in color.

Evans Cherry is light red color with yellow inside and Balaton Cherry is a dark red color.

The Sweetheart Apricot was planted around 10 years ago and this was the first year it produced fruit.

It made up for lost time and produced over a 100 lbs this year. An added benefit is edible kernels inside the pits.

Cilantro has produced a lot of leafy greens.

I’ve been drying the leaves and will see how they are dried.

I noticed fireblight hit my orchard this year. Gala Apple was the most damaged.

A lot of rainy, foggy, and misty days this Spring has helped fireblight to take hold.

I found a lot of weird insects feeding on a Heartnut tree.

They are known as Butternut Wooly Worms and are larvae of a sawfly.

The Mulberry trees have produced a lot of fruit this year.

Here are a couple White Mulberry trees that appear white and red more than they appear green because of all the fruit in them.

Royalty Purple Raspberry has been a productive raspberry for me.

I continue to plant more of these for more production.

I killed a fly and saw that it gives birth to live maggots.

Ants enjoyed the lunch they found.

Northrop Mulberry is said to be the cold-hardiest mulberry cultivar.

It is a White Mulberry(Morus alba) and produces a lot of fruit.
