September Garden Harvest
A lot of different things were harvested in the garden this September. It was a great melon year and also had a good amount of potatoes. Large Sunflower heads were collected for their edible kernels and enough Butternut Squash will be ate this winter.
Peach Tomato
One of the mildest tomatoes I have ate is the Wapsipinicon Peach Tomato. The plants produce a lot of tomatoes and they are fuzzy like a peach, too.
Pinto Bean Beauty
Pinto Bean is an easy dry bean to grow. A little added benefit is the color of the bean pods.
