This year has been a good crop of Sweet Onions. They have to be harvested pretty quickly once mature, as rot can set in if it is too rainy.

Iced Landscape
Some freezing rain has iced over everything on my Oasis.
Superschmelz Kohlrabi
Superschmelz Kohlrabi and Ancient Giant Red Trentino Cabbage Turnip are rare Brassicas that are large and edible. These big vegetables produce a lot of food for the table.
Big Radish Harvest
The Radish harvest was quite large, while the individual Radishes were the biggest I’ve ever grown. Growing Radishes in fall has been more productive than in spring. They tend not to bolt either.
Final Harvest
Finally had to pick the rest of the Squash and Pumpkins before a hard freeze damages them. There is a lot of variety this year since all the vines did great.
Pepper Harvest
I had a large harvest of Sweet and Hot Peppers this year. The final harvest was done before the freeze.
Radish Apples
The rains and low fall season has caused the Radishes to get huge. Some of the Radishes are getting bigger than Apples!
Fall Harvest
With the above normal rainfall, Pumpkins and Squash vines produced a lot. Here is the first harvest of ripe fruit. When a freeze comes, I will harvest the rest.
Red Rover Sunchoke
Jerusalem Artichokes are a good perennial plant for the garden. They produce tubers to eat and flowers for ornament.
Tomato Flood
The Tomato harvest is in full throttle now. When there are too many tomatoes, even the goats get fed some.
