A sapsucker has been putting holes in an elm of mine. Damage isn’t life threatening though and the tree continues to grow fine.

Wingnut Division
I have a young Hupeh Wingnut(Pterocarya Hupehensis) that has multiple trunks on it, so decided to dig out one and make a new tree. With a little care, this Wingnut division should grow into a fast growing tree.
Crash of the Titans
I was busy planting trees when I heard many loud explosion noises, as if dynamite went off somewhere. Instead it was a large Cottonwood, over 5 feet in diameter, that came crashing down.
