I have not seen this happen here before, but there was a scourge of army worms that marched across a hay field and ate all the grass in their path.

Amur Honeysuckle(Lonicera maackii) fruit hangs on late for birds.
Charlie’s Golden Autumn Olive
The Autumn Olive(Elaeagnus umbellata) is a fast growing shrub, with heavenly scented flowers and large quantities of healthy fruit in fall. Pictured above is the golden-fruited cultivar named Charlie’s Golden. I also have some red-fruited cultivars, too. This Fruiting Bush is also called the Autumnberry.

Weigela Flowering
The two Weigela bushes are flowering. Both of the Weigelas have pink flowers, one is lighter than the other.
