February, Not So Nice

Now that the cattle are gone and the wind storm knocked about the tin windbreak, it was time to take it down. I may use the material to build a shed.

Chicory Pasture
A good patch of Chicory is growing in a pasture. The flowers are opened up in the morning and quickly create a blue cast over the pasture.
Birch Catkins
The Japanese White Birch is very attractive in spring. The male catkins look like ornaments on the tree.
I am a Duck
Can you spot the one that does not belong? This rooster has been spending time with the ducks, while the other rooster is staking claim over the flock of hens.
