Walking Stick On Hand

There was a walking stick insect I came across this month. It was a young one, so was still small, with a light green color.

This caterpillar is little, but looks special: It is trying to find a way to escape from me.

This spring I got some mantis egg cases. Now I have seen one of the praying mantises all grown up.

There are many different insects that I come across while outside. Sometimes it could be a large beetle or other times a spiny caterpillar.

The Mourning Cloak Caterpillar is an unusual caterpillar. This caterpillar looks like a formidable opponent.

This is a Sphinx Moth. They are the adult form of hornworms.

Interesting little insect was eating a purple bean. First time I have seen this insect, love the color of it.

I have not seen this happen here before, but there was a scourge of army worms that marched across a hay field and ate all the grass in their path.

I noticed there has been more Yellow Jackets than normal this year. They have been eating the rotting fruit.

I was watching a wasp kill caterpillars.
