Castor Bean plants are one of the most ornamental foliage plants that can be grown. These are fast growing annual plants in my location. The only downside is that they are toxic.

Large Tomato
Some of the tomatoes are becoming quite the handful. I use the big tomatoes mostly for processing.
Sweet Corn Time
It was time to harvest the rest of the Sweet Corn. This is one of my favorite vegetables in the garden.
Poor Little Milkweed
I came across a Milkweed plant that was full of Milkweed Tussock Moth and Monarch Caterpillars. Milkweed is a common weed around here. Lately I have been mowing around them and generally letting Milkweed live and propagate, to help some of the insects that depend on this toxic plant.
Daylily Seedlings
There are various Daylilies that grow tall and are a good choice to be propagated on my Oasis. The flowers can rise above most of the green.
Invasive Bindweed
Bindweed Vine has been spreading around in the cultivated areas. This weed can look pretty when crawling up fences and blooming.
Echinacea Purpurea
Purple Coneflowers has been a short-lived perennial for me. There are some different colored cultivars of these plants, such as White Coneflowers.
Variegated Tomato Plant
Tomato plants all look pretty much the same until they have fruit. Except I am growing one variety of tomato that has attractive variegation in the leaves. The tomatoes taste good, too.
Pinto Beans
I have a nice stand of Pinto Beans growing in the garden. These dry beans are reliable producers in most years.
Developing Kiwi Fruit
This is the first year that I saw one of my kiwis flowering and developing fruit. These fruits are fuzzless and are considered hardy kiwis.
