Concord Grapes Ripening

The seedy Concord Grapes are starting to ripen. I haven’t done much with them since they need processing.

There was a lot of Sunflower heads produced in the garden. The kernels inside the seed shells are a tasty treat.

Garlic Chive plants are sending up a lot of white flowers. These flowers are magnets for bees and other pollinators.

Orange Bell Peppers are starting to ripen. They have so far went from green to yellow to orange.

The Monarch Butterflies have been really obsessed with the Zinnias this year. These flowering annuals stay attractive for months.

The Persimmon/Pecan Orchard has slowly been growing through the years. A lot of flowering plants have been planted among them.

I have been growing Pole Beans on Cattle Panels for the last few years. I am currently growing green beans and dry beans on them.

With the steady rains, I have been harvesting a lot of Green Beans. The purple beans turn green when cooked.

I found a Pigweed that had some variegation on it. Some weeds look more attractive than others.

Surprise Lilies leaf out in early Spring, but later the leaves disappear. Now the flowers have come up from seemingly out of nowhere.
