I noticed a lot of the Cornus Kousa fruits are getting eaten now. I tried some of these fruit, but they weren’t very good yet.

September Melon Harvest
Most of the Melon production is in late summer and fall. There are still hot days at this time of the year, so can eat through a lot of Melon.
Developing Figs
Fig production has been good on my potted Brown Turkey Fig tree. Next month some of the fruit should start ripening.
Large Asian Pear

Kristy D has been an attractive cultivar of the European Cranberrybush. The leaves show good variegation for this Viburnum.

This shrub is closely related to the native Prickly Ash. The different species in the genus have compound leaves and thorny stems.

My seedling Seaberries have been ripening their fruit. The fruit is very small, but has an interesting citrus flavor.
Bountiful Harvest
Tomato production has been in high gear this month. Buckets of various Tomatoes has been common.
Asian Pears of Iowa
I have 4 Asian Pears that are producing fruit this year. These two fruits are Shinseiki and Chojuro.
