A stubby White Mulberry has been in glorious display. This Mulberry tree is a male and does not fruit.

Pawpaw Suckers
Pawpaw suckers are more noticeable now that all the suckers have turned the same color at once. Pawpaws can have fruit that is attractive to wildlife.
Goumi Bush
Goumi produced a lot of fruit this year. This bush stays green late into the fall.
Crimson Gold Nectarine
I’ve had Crimson Gold Nectarine for years. It hasn’t matured any fruit, but at least can have good fall color.
Bring on the Birds
The young seedling Crabapples are producing a lot of fruit. The fruit lasts into the winter, giving birds something easy to eat.
Black Cherry Leaf Color
Black Cherries look red in fall. Black Cherries are very ornamental and are great for wildlife, too.
Big Pear Fruit
The Kieffer Pears continue to grow in the tree. Some of them are getting quite large.
Pokeweed Berry Production
One Pokeweed plant can have hundreds, if not thousands of fruit. These perennials die back to the ground every year but come back with a lot of growth and can be the size of a bush.
Final Pepper Harvest
With colder weather coming, I harvested the remaining Hot and Sweet Peppers. Most of the Peppers are Jalapeno and Bell Peppers. A lot of the Jalapeno will be dried, while the Bell Peppers will be processed and put in the freezer.
Fire Cherry
By fall, the Pin Cherry looks like it is on fire. This small cherry has already flowered, but still doesn’t yield any fruit for wildlife.
