Lamb’s Quarters is a common weed in the garden. Like some other weeds, it is considered edible. Some of the plants can have an attractive color to them and be ornamental themselves in the garden.

Crimson Beauty Knotweed, Maybe?
My Crimson Beauty Knotweed flowers later than my other knotweed, but also has white flowers. This cultivar suppose to have crimson flowers. Anyways, these plants attract a lot of pollinating insects with all of its late season nectar.
Miscanthus Cultivars
Various Miscanthus Grass cultivars are planted among the Persimmons and Pecans. A lot of the Miscanthus is flowering now. This grass is one of the most ornamental, with the large white plumes, it is sometimes called Pampas grass.
Canna Seedling
A few Cannas started growing from seed in the garden. The seed had to be 20 years or more old. The consistent rains have helped these Cannas go from seed to flowering.
Golden Raintree Seedpods
The Golden Raintree is done flowering. Now the seed pods are dried and the seed is ready to be harvested.
Pirates!
Now that the fields are being harvested, an influx of Minute Pirate Bugs have come on my Oasis. They are feeding off nectar.
Woodland Flowers
Even in late summer and fall, there are some woodland plants flowering. But most of the plants flower earlier in the year, especially in spring.
Orange Jewelweed
Orange Jewelweed popped in the woods and is spreading. These annual plants have very noticeable flower display in late summer. The flowers can be attractive to hummingbirds.
Red Rover Sunchoke
Jerusalem Artichokes are a good perennial plant for the garden. They produce tubers to eat and flowers for ornament.
Foxtail Photobomb
Foxtail knows how to survive and ended up finding a way to grow among these flowers. These annual grasses are late summer plants.
