White Carmine Jewel Cherry Flowers
2 of the Carmine jewel Cherry Bushes I have are loaded with a good flower display. These bushes are getting too big for the little area I gave them. I will have to start pruning them to help control their size, as I thought their height and spread wouldn’t be much more than 6 feet.
Birch Life
The Birches awaken in spring with their catkins. The catkins will soon fall off and the female cones will start to grow.
Iowa Plum Thicket
The Plums are full of blooms right now. These Plum thickets keep getting bigger and bigger.
Fruit Pear Flowers
The Pears are full of flowers, so could be full of flowers later. This pear was bought as a Bartlett Pear, but I have guessed that it is a Kieffer Pear.

The Ussuri Plum can handle extreme low temps and the flowers can also handle some cold weather. But in the above photo, some of the flowers did get burnt on this plum.
Ussuri Plum Flowers
The Ussuri Plums are full of flowers right now. It can be common for these early flowering trees to have their potential crops to be affected by spring freezes.
Manchurian Apricot Flower Display
Manchurian Apricots are reliable for flowers in early spring. But it is common for the freezes to destroy a potential crop. Not much of a disappointment though, as the fruit is low quality.
Nanking Cherry Flowering
My line of Nanking Cherries are full of flowers. Hopefully in early summer, The birds and I will have a lot of fruit to eat.
Woodland Awakening
The Woodland is starting to awaken this month with many flowers appearing. Creeping plants are also easier to see before all the lush tall growth overtakes the woods.
