Giant Gray Bamboo
Planted Giant Gray Bamboo last year and it was planted close-by, so I could take good care of it. Now it is ready to transplant and move elsewhere. The top was pretty much destroyed from the cold. It had some nice rhizome spread though. It won’t be Giant anything in this climate.

I found a Praying Mantis crawling on a gate when doing goat chores. I introduced the Chinese Mantis to my Chinese bamboo.
Prison Break
Just received another bamboo, looks like it is going to break out of the two gallon pot. This species is known as Semiarundinaria okuboi and is known for fast growing rhizomes.
