Giant Ironweed is a tall-growing perennial, with a nice flower display on top. This Ironweed has been slow to spread though, as only one stalk has flowered again this fall.

Butterflies have been frequenting the flower garden. Monarchs have been the most common resident on the Mexican Sunflowers.

Duck Meetup
Father Drake is meeting up with his children. Ducks grow pretty fast and and the ones born this summer are already adult size.
Monarch Chrysalys
Since I have been attracting Monarchs to the Oasis, seeing a Chrysalys is becoming more common. Too bad it is attached to a vehicle tire.

Monarch Butterflies have been attracted to my flowering Mexican Sunflowers. These large, annual plants produce a lot of flowers from summer to fall.
Annual Flower Garden
Annuals make up the bulk of this flower garden. Though the white flowers in the foreground are perennials.
Flower Attractant
Squash flowers have been having some visitors lately. This flower dwarfs the army of ants on it.
Variegated Elm Leaves
The Variegated Chinese Elm has nice variegation on some of the leaves. Though some of the leaves don’t show much variegation.
Pixie Crunch
Pixie Crunch Apple tree had a few apples for the first time this year. The Apple did not disappoint in the crunch, the flavor was pretty mild though.
