I don’t have many willows with yellow leaves, but this cultivar does. By this time of the year, the leaves have mellowed out.

Globe Thistles
Globe Thistles are very attractive flowers for honeybees. The plants are perennials and are able to compete with the surrounding vegetation.
Golden White Willow
Planted some Golden White Willow cuttings. They have taken off pretty good, though the Pokeweed is competing well.
Blackberry Harvest
Triple Crown and Chester Blackberries are currently being harvested every day. I have to pick them often and stay ahead of the Spotted wing drosophila fruit flies.

Wingnut seed has always been easy to grow. This particular species is Chinese Wingnut. There are some other species I also grow.

First Ripened Pristine Apple
I was hoping these apples would have ripened sooner, but it has been still sooner than any of my other apples. I have planted some other early season apples lately, so I will see in the future if they produce earlier than this apple.
