My cat has found a good place to hangout. The bird feeder attracts birds, thus attracts cats, too.

Heavy Snow
Some wet, heavy snow has come in time to make a White Christmas. Bamboo is weighed down with the snow. Evergreen Windbreak with a nice Christmas look. Unique Snowball formed on steel fence post.
December Green Bamboo
Bamboo is still green into December. Animals like hiding in the bamboo. The best kind to grow in my climate is hardy species from the Phyllostachys genus.
Little Work, Big Results
The Beavers were able to dam up a small area and created a big body of water. The beaver pond is around 2 acres in size.
Pink Yellow
The clouds were painted with the sunset. Many times in these late months there are great sunsets to take in.
Queen For a Day
Was sawing down some Lombardy Poplars. Found many carpenter ants inside, some were queen ants that were large.
Late Season Harvest
Carrots are dug up before the ground freezes. Need to still get off the hulls of the big Black Walnut harvest.
October Sunset
October can have a lot of colors from the trees. The sky can also be filled with color.
Fall Colors 2012
Nice fall yellow color on a White Mulberry, while others are still green. Bald Cypress rarely fails me and has good fall colors most years. Bitternut Hickories(Carya cordiformis) turning usual yellows in fall. Pin Oak(Quercus palustris) hangs onto its leaves into the winter.
