Temporary Deep Water

Some of my vernal pools of water can be pretty deep. This vernal pool can be as deep as 8 feet.  Some years it does not dry up.

Island Reappears

With some good rainfall, the island has reappeared. This island seems to have a fleeting existence.

Grow Wherever

A rotten log is a good place to start life. This little Juniper is clinging onto life on the log, hoping to live a long life.
