The color on Lanham’s Purple Sumac isn’t a strong purple color. This is a cultivar of the species Shining Sumac. This form seems to have leaves that are more dark and dull, giving it a more subtle look in the landscape.

Red Samaras
Redwings Maple looks like it is flowering with its red hot samaras. This cultivar is similar to other Tatarian Maple cultivars such as Hot Wings.
Invasive Bindweed
Bindweed Vine has been spreading around in the cultivated areas. This weed can look pretty when crawling up fences and blooming.
Chinese Varnish Tree
Chinese Varnish Tree has similar leaves to other sumacs. This tree has been hardier for me than another Chinese relative, the Chinese Sumac.
Echinacea Purpurea
Purple Coneflowers has been a short-lived perennial for me. There are some different colored cultivars of these plants, such as White Coneflowers.

Sweetheart Apricot
Sweetheart Apricot has a good crop of fruit this year. After I eat the fruit, I will have nuts to eat.
Gooseberry Cultivars
I am starting to grow more Gooseberry cultivars as they are great tasting berries. The flavor has been better than the wild Gooseberries that grow here.
Ripe Ussuri Plums
I am eating Ussuri Plums daily now. The few trees I have been starting to come in good production.
Largest Tree Leaf
The different Paulownia species have the largest tree leaves. Above is Diamond with a gigantic Paulownia Elongata leaf on her.
